What Outsourced Construction Estimating Covers
Outsourced estimating means using an external estimating team instead of hiring. It covers takeoffs, priced estimates and bid-day support, delivered in your formats. Some contractors use it for overflow during busy bid seasons. Others use it as their whole estimating department.
It makes financial sense when your bid volume does not justify a full-time salary, or when the volume swings. It is less attractive if you bid continuously, all year, in a single trade. At that point a full-time estimator who knows your crews is usually the better investment.

Onboarding
We collect your estimate template, unit prices, crew rates, markups, and the exclusions you normally carry.
Project intake
You send drawings and a due date; we confirm scope, fee and delivery time before starting.
Estimate
Takeoff and pricing using your rates and template.

A short call or written notes on assumptions and risks before you finalize the number.
Feedback loop
Bid results and field feedback are used to adjust unit prices on the next project.

Pricing & Turnaround
Per-project work follows the standard ranges ($150 – $350 per project for a single trade; $400 – $950 per project for a full project). Monthly plans run $1,500 – $3,200 per month depending on bid volume.
Every project gets a fixed quote after we see the drawings. Standard delivery is 24 to 48 hours from scope approval; large packages take longer and the date is set in the quote. Full fee tiers are on the pricing page.

Questions About Outsourced Construction Estimating
Is outsourcing cheaper than hiring an estimator?
It depends on volume. A full-time estimator typically costs $95,000–$130,000 a year plus benefits and software. If you need fewer estimates than that salary buys, or your volume swings by season, outsourcing usually costs less. If you bid full-time all year, hiring is often better.
Will you use our pricing?
Yes. During onboarding we collect your unit prices, crew rates and markups and apply them to every estimate.
How is confidentiality handled?
Drawings and pricing are used only to prepare your estimates. If your company requires an NDA, send it with your first request.
How do monthly plans work?
A fixed monthly fee covers an agreed volume of estimates or hours. The plan size is set from your typical monthly bid count.
